02Information we process
Local disk information: To discover and manage drives, the app reads volume names, file system types, capacities, device identifiers, mount locations and operation status on your Mac. Local file system components process file contents; they are not uploaded to our servers.
Local preferences and activity: The app saves language, automatic mounting and menu bar preferences. Local activity and system diagnostics may include volume names, operation results and errors.
Purchases: Apple StoreKit processes purchases and subscriptions. The app and extension use verified transactions, expiry dates and entitlement status locally to enable paid features. We do not receive payment card details.
Support: If you email us, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not send private disk files, passwords or payment card details.
03Purposes and legal bases
We process information to provide disk access, save preferences, verify purchase entitlements, troubleshoot issues and respond to requests. Where applicable, our legal bases include performance of a contract, your consent, legal obligations or legitimate interests, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. You decide whether to supply optional information.
04Website, cookies and analytics
This website itself uses no analytics or advertising SDKs, tracking pixels or tracking cookies, and loads no third-party fonts. Language selection uses separate pages. When deployed, the hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser information, access times and request paths to deliver the website and maintain security. This depends on the actual hosting configuration.
05Sharing, third parties and international processing
We do not sell or rent personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Apple independently processes App Store transactions. Email providers may process support messages, and hosting providers may process access logs. Information is disclosed only as necessary to provide services, as required by law or with your consent. Where international processing occurs, we take measures required by applicable law. Using disk access does not upload or transfer your disk files internationally. 06Data retention
We retain your personal information only for the shortest period necessary to achieve the purposes of processing, unless a different period is required by law or you separately consent. Local settings, logs and entitlement data are retained according to system management and app usage; you can clear activity and remove the app and associated local data. After handling support requests and necessary follow-up, we retain or delete correspondence under the same minimum-necessary principle. Apple retains transaction data under its own policies and legal obligations.
07Your rights by region
Depending on the laws applicable in your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object to processing, data portability, withdraw consent, close an account and lodge a complaint. Users in the EU/EEA have rights under the GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; users in China have rights under the Personal Information Protection Law. Submit requests through our contact details below. We will verify and process requests within the time limits required by applicable law.

08Security and children
Local processing, system permissions and transaction verification help reduce exposure. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. This general-purpose computer utility is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
09Changes and contact
We update this policy and its effective date when functionality or processing changes. We will notify you of material changes as required by law and obtain consent where necessary.
